The Build
Here is where you'll find updates of the build, from start to finish!
We will be open from the 2nd of December so look out for our updates and sneaky peaks at the village....
14th September
It's all systems go at the village. The builders are installing hugely thick walls to partition our section of the warehouse off from our neighbours and in doing so need massive specialised equipment so its not safe for us to visit will this process is on going to pictures are limited at the moment!
The walls will go straight to the top of the ceiling and will provide a good amount of noise reduction (for our neighbours benefit) and will retain heat.
The builders are also installing the fire door, electric and water plus two wall mounted space heaters for chillier days.
Hopefully we'll be able to get some pictures soon and it won't be long until our carpenter team will get cracking on the village build!

04th September
It's safe to say I've been looking for a unit for a while. I've viewed many properties, all of which haven't been 'quite right' or were just right but someone else got there first!
On one of my many late night right move sessions I came across our unit. There it was, recently posted and in the best location. I sent an email and the lovely Joanne got back to me the next day to arrange a viewing! As soon as we got in I knew it was the one. The neighbours at Jurassic Bark (Yes they are staying you'll be pleased to know, in the front unit) were welcoming and after seeing all the other businesses in the courtyard I was definitely sold.
We signed the contract and that's that!
The wonderful Steve and his team are getting to work on new walls, water, toilet, new lights, fire door and a hatch so we can serve coffees and bacon rolls to the other businesses. After that stage is complete we can get in and start building the village, cafe and kitchen (Plus staff room for our breaks, comfy sofa is high priority apparently...!)
I'll be heading over soon to take pictures of the progress while keeping well out of the way, I'm a liability at the best of times and trip over my own shadow so its for the best!
